Sei Network is a project that is actively developing and expanding its community and influence more and more. In case you missed anything, here’s a quick reminder of the project’s news and partnerships.
One of the most significant updates is that Sei Labs has raised $30 million in funding from investors such as Jump, Distributed Global, Multicoin, Asymmetric, Flow Traders, Hypersphere, and Bixin Ventures. Sei Labs is a member of the open-source Sei blockchain, which is the fastest Tier 1 blockchain for trading. Its unique chain-level optimization enables decentralized exchanges and trading applications to deliver the best user experience with state-of-the-art performance and scalability. The funds will be used to accelerate the growth of Sei Labs and deepen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, further solidifying its position as the fastest Tier 1 blockchain for trading and promoting the development of the digital asset ecosystem worldwide. The Sei Labs team includes industry veterans from Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Robinhood, Google, and Nvidia.
Furthermore, several projects have joined the Sei ecosystem:
- Strobe has introduced Sei-Move to the community. With the high performance of Sei and the security of Strobe Move smart contracts, this will push the boundaries of what applications can do for users.
- GSR is a crypto market maker and ecosystem partner with ten years of experience in the crypto space. GSR’s expertise in quantitative trading, algorithmic strategies, and risk management will play a vital role in ensuring smooth liquidity and improving the user experience on Sei.
- The Hana Network project has joined the Sei ecosystem, introducing privacy zero, a decentralized privacy layer with trustless interaction, consisting of a multi-asset UTXO protected by Bulletproofs and cross-chain transfer using crypto-backed assets. Combining the scalability and speed of Sei with the security and privacy of Hana will open up new use cases for users.
- Sei was excited to introduce the SparrowSwap project to the community. SparrowSwap is Sei’s own team that runs a DeFi hub that allows users to swap, farm, and stake assets in Sei.
- The Sei ecosystem has become much stronger with the addition of Simba Exchange. Simba is a proprietary DEX order book offering a self-contained and transparent trading platform with ultra-low slippage, near-zero gas fees, and all of Sei’s robust features.
- Magpy has also joined Sei. The project offers unprecedented customization and decentralization for DeFi dApps built on Sei. Users will be able to create bots with their user interface without code.
